His 0. 83 hectare parcel sits in Bas des Longeroies, the prized lower section of one of the village's largest vineyards a southeast facing slope at 275 meters on gravelly, reddish tan soil over limestone and ancient riverbed alluvium. Two thirds of the vines went in during the early 2000s, a
