Domaine des Ardoisieres, Refuge Des Ardoisieres Rose "Rhodonite", 2024 SPIRCT061324 Vinification follows Burgundian methods: whole-clusterDomaine des Ardoisires is one of the great Savoie revival stories steep alpine slopes of black schist (ardoise means slate) reclaimed and farmed by hand, biodynamically, at the foot of the Alps. Rhodonite is their ros, a single varietal Gamay direct pressed from a later ripening parcel and made with no added sulfur during fermentation. The slate soils give it a mineral cut you rarely find in pink wine, and the altitude keeps it taut and refreshing.
