Expands with time in the glass adding suggestions of fig paste, nectarine, almond pastry, vanilla custard, black pepper and rancio. Entry is a little firm, oak heavy, dry; countered by a burst of sweet fruits as the wood dovetails into fig, apricot, nectarine and vanilla. Climaxes in the aftertaste which sustains the
